printmaking

The main types of printmaking, relief and intaglio, are produced on two differently sized Takach presses.

Descriptions of types can be seen on their respective pages.

Jon has used water-based and acrylic inks, but he prefers the feel of oil-based inks that are easier to mix and manipulate and the inks have a better ability to be transparent and to be used in viscosity printing.
