Welcome to Taylor Art House.

Jon Taylor started Taylor Art House in 2000 to make a web-based portfolio of his artwork.

Continuously making art from early in childhood, Jon learned to be an architect through a highly respected program at the University of Oregon in the early 1970s and continued to create art through the rest of his life while enjoying a 45 year career in architecture as either a designer or design manager. Jon is now a full time artist.

Jon has continued to take classes at Crown Point Press in San Francisco, classes in photography at University of Washington and various art classes at Pratt Fine Arts, Shoreline and Seattle Central colleges as well as a variety of private classes in painting and printmaking throughout the years.

The current site includes a blog about art. The updates are continuing and dynamic, so visit often.
